I've searched the forums here and cant seem to find the answer

I've installed LVR and DM on my game server - Game Server and HTTP server are on differant servers.

I've configured LVR as follows

Item Name: rFactor1
Scan Path: E:\davide_files\rFactor\UserData\LOG\Results\
Pattern: currnetly blank but have tried *.txt and *.*
Enabled: = yes, checked

I can successfuly test the settings as in the file liveview_test.txt is uploaded to my HTTP server yet no results form the location mentioned above are uploaded.

By the way I do have LVPlugin installed and it is saving files to this location for example

2008_03_08_10_15_50_Monaco_S1_live

One thing I did notice is the lack of the extenion being .txt ? not sure why this is

extension is hidden by folder settings, I'm sure. But I don't think it has something to do with your problem.

Check log file in LVR directory

Was showing the old setting only, seems I need to restart the service when a change is made?

If thats the case thats going to be hard as I dont have permissions to start and stop services on my game server

If I manage to contact the admin I'll see if he can restart it for me or at least give me permissions to restart the damn thing.

Thanks anyway, I'll keep you updated on my findings once I get the service restarted

yes. You have to restart service to take new settings into account.
Maybe try to restart whole machine if you have no permissions to restart service

Hi Maxym!

We've got the same problem like ferrite. The LVR does not uploading the log files, and if I look into the log file of LVR, it's empty (only "service started at..." lines exists). But if I copy a log file from another dir into the log dir, LVR uploads it successfully.
Could you help me out? Thanks in advance!

On another server it was working perfectly. But now we got a brand new server running 4 rF dedicated servers and LVR working good with those servers, only the fifth don't want to work.. :S I've restarted the LVR service, and the dedicated server too, but the problem hasn't been solved..
I've tried to stop service add a new profile, start service, start rF dedi, but nothing happens.. The LVR version is 1.1. Does that matters?

Are you sure that LVplugin generates new files?
Note, that there is newer version of LVReporter

Log files are generated by LVplugin and they appears in UserData/Log/Results folder (rF xml and LVplugin txt too)
Well, I'll write to the sysadmin to install the newer version of LVR.

You can also update LVplugin. It generates files in more safety way.
