I'm admin of the french league lfgtr.ffsca.org.

We are interested to particpate to this competition.

I've read the rules, think some adaptations and explanations are neccessary in order this manifestation be a success.


I read, each league must use 7 differents cars type.
Performance cars type is big in GTR, so only few drivers will battle for the win. Also best drivers will have best car, increasing the performance gap.

Also, dribers with not performant type car will not be very motivate to participate.

So think better not to impose cars type.

Another solution, a league could impose same car type for the race to all drivers.

the aim of these rules is: every driver has to beat opponent with the same car. but smart handling drivers and cars gives You many possibilities.
for example: if You plan to give best car (f550) for Your best driver he will score not so many extra points (because f550 used to finnish on 1st or 2nd place). but if the best driver from other ligue will choose a weaker car - for example corvette - and will finnish 3rd, then he will give few more extra points to his team, because normally corvette ends on 6th or 7th place.
BTW I think these rules are copy from GPL world championship.

What system will be used in Cup? (groups, all against all or play off system)?

it depends how many teams will join sls world cup, but rather groups than all vs all.

ok it looks good. Will be any registration and list of already registered leagues?

2.7 The drivers will use the game-default car liveries (skins). - it could be intresting to make cars of each team in national colors, just like in A1GP. It's no problem to make carpack install with all league cars.
